SNR30 ear defenders provide a medium level of hearing protection, reducing noise levels by up to 30 decibels. This makes them ideal for protecting people from hearing damage caused by moderate noise levels.
People who might wear SNR30 ear defenders include:
Construction workers operating smaller machinery such as power saws and drills
Factory workers working in less noisy environments such as packaging and shipping areas
Gardeners using noisy equipment such as lawnmowers and chainsaws
DIYers working on projects that generate moderate noise levels
Anyone else who works or spends time in a moderately noisy environment
SNR30 ear defenders are also a good option for people who are sensitive to noise, such as those with tinnitus or hyperacusis. They can help to reduce noise levels to a more comfortable level and make it easier to cope with noisy environments.
It is important to note that SNR30 ear defenders may not be sufficient to protect hearing from very loud noise levels. If you are working in an environment where the noise level is consistently above 85 decibels, you should wear SNR34 ear defenders or other hearing protection that provides a higher level of attenuation.
