The railway specification for hi vis rail sweatshirts are that the sweatshirt must be orange coloured and the new standard for this type is RIS TOM 3279, (replaces the old GORT3279 standard). Either way for both types of specification, the sweatshirts need to have reflective stripes around the body and also over the shoulders and arms to get the best protective levels.
