However, they still comply with EN ISO 20471 Class 2 and maintain their high-visibility properties. we can still add your logo to this vest but note that you will see the faint marks around the logo on the rear of the vests that are marked and due to these being clearance item they will not be able to be returned. Some common questions about hi vis vests. Do I have to wear EN471 Hi Vis vest?
If you are working on or near main roads the EN471 (eniso 20471 the new spec) then Yes you do need to wear en471 class protection. Other places depending on local rules could be building sites, workplaces such as warehouses, or other businesses.
Are there class 1, 2 and 3 of hi vis clothing?
Yes! There are class 1 class 2 and class 3 hi vis vests, which all have varying levels of protection. See here for a full eniso 20471 guide.
Do Black hi vis vests or blue, green, white and even pink vests comply to en471?
No! Vests like maroon etc. Do not comply to EN471 as they do not have any luminous background material like yellow or orange do. Even though they have hi vis stripes they do not conform to eniso 20471. Our coloured hi vis vests can be bought here
